Program Overview:
This Advanced Welding course is designed for students
ready to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in key welding processes—GMAW, SMAW, GTAW,
and FCAW—and advanced cutting techniques, including oxy-fuel, plasma, and mechanical methods.
Students will undertake complex tasks such as designing and fabricating projects, interpreting
detailed blueprints, and operating CNC cutting equipment. In addition to technical expertise, this
course requires students to consistently exhibit critical employability skills: strict punctuality,
reliable attendance, effective teamwork, and unwavering commitment to safety protocols. Only
students who successfully complete the Entry-Level Welding course, meeting all attendance,
punctuality, and performance benchmarks, may enroll in this rigorous course.
